Inspired by cold mornings and the urge to draw smiley faces on the window.
In 2024 I painted a landscape of Lough Salt, Donegal. For months it sat in the studio, silently judging me. I never felt it was right. I knew it needed something more.
A steamy new edition to my collections.
Reverting to childhood I started drawing with my finger on the condensation covered window. An idea sparked! So I ran with it and created ‘Happy days’. The first in the series.

Painting the drips and water spots to give the piece a realistic finish. I decided to add resin to the water to make it look wet.
I then progressed to ‘x’s & o’s’ a painting inspired by a car journey. I’m sure most of us have played the game on a window at some point in our lives!

Many more to come!
